چکیده

Recovery of plastic waste is becoming crucial since the amount such increases continuously. The objective this study to investigate potential pyrolysis technique for recovery waste. In that frame, influence temperature (550°C or 600°C) on pure polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS) and terephthalate (PET) was first studied. It shown whatever type polymer, aromatic compounds are mainly formed could reach 55wt.-% oil fraction PP 31wt.-% PE at 550°C. a second step, PP/PE mixture model representative packaging stream were pyrolyzed combination polymers proportions composition different fractions. polymer mixtures shows that, even if similar those obtained virgin polymers, proportion much more important than when alone. Indeed, mixing with 50/50 ratio does not affect liquid, gas solid fractions but leads formation higher quantity xylene (39 wt-%) plastics in has also led decrease waxy compounds. Furthermore, it aromatics expected formed. As conclusion, demonstrates an effective recover as petroleum industry. specific conditions used (proposed conditions), will favor idea sorting needed through favored composed polymers.

chemical recycling of polycarbonate waste using conventional heating and microwave assisted method

Possibilities and limits of pyrolysis for recycling plastic rich waste streams rejected from phones recycling plants.

The possibilities and limits of pyrolysis as a means of recycling plastic rich fractions derived from discarded phones have been studied. Two plastic rich samples (⩾80wt% plastics) derived from landline and mobile phones provided by a Spanish recycling company, have been pyrolysed under N2 in a 3.5dm3 reactor at 500°C for 30min. The landline and mobile phones yielded 58 and 54.5wt% liquids, 16....

Sorting of plastic waste for effective recycling

Separation of plastic from various types of waste streams represents one of major problematic process in energy recovery through different thermochemical processes. The sorting of plastics is a very essential step in different waste management technique. Manual sorting is suitable when plastic component are present in large amount but it is a labor intensive process. In automated sorting techni...

Life-cycle assessment of flash pyrolysis of wood waste

This work analyzes a process known as flash pyrolysis, which produces bio fuels using biomass for power generation. A life-cycle assessment of flash pyrolysis of wood waste was conducted to study whether a flash pyrolysis plant set up locally would be environmentally friendly. The results obtained show that the process of flash pyrolysis of wood waste is in fact environmentally friendly, and th...
